We host Gin Blending Masterclasses, something which is pretty rare to find as a Distiller's license is needed to blend gin. We have a Distiller-Rectifier licenses in each of our bars, with bonded warehouses. This gives us the ability to offer full gin blending masterclasses. They have become ever more popular as people seek authentic and engaging experiences.
We also host Cocktail Masterclasses and ours is one of the best in the market. Starting with a welcome glass of fizz whilst our head bartender guides you through the fundamentals of making cocktails. You then get behind the bar and learn the tricks of great bartending. There are some games along the way and prizes for the winners naturally.
Finally, our guests can sample our gins with our Gin Tasting Flight. Try five of our handmade small batch gins with a tasting sheet for you to make notes on each. We give you tonics and ice so you can taste each gin on its own and served as a gin & tonic. You’ll get a mini guide to our gins, describing the botanicals, flavour profile and best serves. It also has some great gin cocktail recipes to try at home.

‘Serata Hall is one of Albion & East’s five vibrant, urban neighbourhood bars, just off Old Street roundabout. Each of the bars have their own small, in-house distillery, and the group distill a new small-batch gin, under their spirt brand Tiny Tower Liquor, to celebrate each opening. The industrial-style, green and white Italian bar/restaurant is the perfect, casual setting for late night drinks and food, for any sized group. Head bartender Steph taught us how to make a Sicilian sloe, a cucumber and basil smash, a cosmopolitan and a mojito, while simultaneously keeping us topped up with prosecco, passing over her expert advice and answering our bombardment of questions. To wrap up the class, we were let loose behind the bar for a (very frantic) competition to make the best cocktail, finishing with a shot of limoncello. Make sure you stay for food afterwards – we had two of their delicious wood-fired pizzas, the London Field and Truffle Hound.’
