Located in vibrant, local areas of London where people live, work and socialise, each bar has local coffee, craft beers & tap wines, pizza & pasta made daily from scratch and in-house gin distilleries producing small batch gin.

Pizza & pasta made daily in house, cooked from scratch using wood & coal fired ovens. No freezers just homemade food. From smoothie bowls, takeaway coffee and brunch at weekends through to Italian sharing plates, slow-cooked ragus and wood fired pizza.
Targeting the flexible workforce has always been at the core to our concept, and never more so now. Super fast WIFI, lots of plug sockets and bottomless coffee. Daily, weekly and monthly passes or just take a seat.
We distill our own small batch gin in each of our bars. We are self-educated with four distillery licenses, one distiller and some decent tasting gin.
We host Gin Blending Masterclasses weekly where guests learn to Blend their own small batch gin. Their bespoke gin Bottles are finished with a wax seal ready to take home.
Every weekend is busy-busy with brunch. Bottomless pink Prosecco, our secret-recipe rum punch bowls and bubbly cocktails. A great vibe with our DJs playing all-day long.
If you have a members keyring you (and your table) get half-price pizza every Monday, to eat-in or take-out. We give other free stuff away from time to time, follow us on Instagram to find out. No membership fee or faff, just ask a team member for a keyring next time you visit.
In 2016 we opened our first bar, Martello Hall tucked away in Hackney, where we started distilling some gin in our copper still, Nicola. Over the years we have opened more bars and added a small distillery each time. At Teatro Hall we have our biggest distillery yet, with a handsome new 150 litre copper still. Our tiny distilleries work in partnership under Tiny Tower Liquor. We we still produce, bottle and wax seal all of our gins by hand in our London bars
Located in local London neighbourhoods, each bar has its own individual identity, design and local vibe. We don’t do brands, preferring to create spaces which suit the location, building and surrounding area.

Albion & East was established by a small, well-skilled team with a wealth of experience in hospitality. The team remains small as they have grown, believing it is better to be close to the business, to be hands-on, than grow through layers of management. They know their bars, their people and their customers well, and being nimble means the business stays ahead of the market.
Created by Sarah Weir, Albion & East is a collection of individual neighbourhood bars. Sarah observed that, amongst the vast array of restaurants, coffee shops, cocktail bars and great British pubs, there was a lack of decent all-day-and-evening bars. She wanted to create places where people felt as comfortable going for early morning coffee & hot-desking as they did for cocktails & wood-fired pizza in the evening, with each bar having its own individual identity, design & neighbourhood vibe. Sarah was backed by IMBIBA & first funded in 2016.
Aa a co-founder, Darren has been with Albion & East from the start. He is an incredibly seasoned operator, with over 20 years of experience operating bars across the UK for the likes of Revolution, Bramwell Pub Company and Davy's Wine Bars. Darren is a critical part of the team tasked with the high class delivery of the concept, culture and on the ground operations across all the Albion & East bars. Darren and his team create the world-class customer experience in bars every day that drives the success of Albion & East.
After qualifying as a Chartered Account in 2015, Calum immediately moved out of practice to the world of business as the Financial Controller of Rotary Watches in Soho. Having by chance visited Martello Hall in early 2017, Calum joined later that year and has since progressed to Finance Director where he is responsible for driving efficiencies in the P&L and future growth. Not only does Calum look after the finances, he is hands on in day to day operations of the business and has special focus on driving the online home delivery business and Tiny Tower Liquor.

John’s work has been recognized by winning various awards, including the coveted Peach CGA Industry Icon 2017 award and the “Best Exit” award from the EIS Association in February 2014, for their trade sale of Drake & Morgan which generated 5.7x multiple. John believes in entrepueners abilities to create market-leading concepts and has sought out, and backed, the best-in-market for more than 20 years.
We have a combination of skills & expereince that is rare. We are innovators who develop hugely successful concepts from scratch. We are self-taught distillers, learning the hard way, which is the best way. We are operators with an exceptional track record.
